Privacy policy – CASTLE & CREW

Castle & Crew is operated by SEEN + UNSEEN, LLC, a California limited liability company, 200 Spectrum Center Drive, Irvine, CA 92618 (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect on castleandcrew.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Orders: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and what you bought. Stripe handles your card; we never see or store full card numbers.
Things you send us: emails, contact-form messages, review text, your display name, and photos you send about a problem order. Published reviews are public.
Email sign-ups: your email address and whether you open or click our emails.
Automatically: device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed and purchase events, through cookies, pixels and similar tools.

We don’t collect sensitive information like government ID numbers, precise location or health data, and we never sell it.

How we use it

To make, ship and support your order, and to send order and shipping emails.
To remind you about items left at checkout and to ask for a review after your order arrives. You can opt out from any of those emails.
To send our newsletter if you signed up or opted in at checkout. Unsubscribe any time.
To keep the site secure, prevent fraud, understand how the site is used, and measure and improve our ads.
To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run the store, each getting only what it needs:

Stripe (payments and sales tax)
Printful (making and shipping your order; it receives your name, address, phone and order details)
Cloudflare (hosting, security and our order records)
Resend (order and reminder emails)
Kit (newsletter)
Google (analytics and shopping listings)
Meta (ad measurement)

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or with a buyer if the business is sold. We don’t sell your personal information for money.

Sharing for advertising

We use the Meta pixel and Conversions API, and Google tools, to measure and improve our ads. When you buy, we may send Meta the purchase details and a scrambled (hashed) version of your email and phone so it can match the purchase to an ad. Hashed data is still personal information. Meta and Google may collect information about your activity on our site and across other websites over time. Some state laws call this “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page, and opting out stops all of this.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of sharing for advertising. Our site doesn’t respond to the older “Do Not Track” browser signal.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart, remember your privacy choice, and measure site traffic and ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the store will still work, though your cart may not be saved.

Emails

Every marketing or reminder email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor requests promptly. Order and shipping emails will still come.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or opt out of sharing for advertising. Email walt@castleandcrew.com from the address you used with us, or use Your Privacy Choices. We may need to verify your identity, and you can use an authorized agent. We’ll respond within 45 days. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we’ll respond within 45 days. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

How long we keep it

Order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal reasons (generally up to 7 years); newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; other information only as long as it’s useful for the purposes above.

Security

We use trusted providers and reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

Kids

Our site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child gave us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we make a material change, we’ll update the dates at the top of this page, and if you’ve ordered from us, we may also email you.
